X45 tower on a 230 VRS?

I have an opportunity to buy a new old stock X-45 tower (not sure of the exact year yet) for a good price.

Any idea how much modification this would require to make it fit an '00 230 VRS?

I know the beam width is about 4" wider on the 45 but I'm guessing that, relative to my bow, the front mounting points would be even wider since it's a forked bow.

Does this sound like it would be worth fooling with?

If it were me, I wouldn't attempt it unlesss you or some one you know is a pretty good machinist. But that's just me.

My winter project will be to install a tower on my 95 Maristar 200, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going with a ND tower.

Could someone with an X45 measure the distance between the front mounts, distance between the rears and distance from front to rear?
