YEAH, they work great. We had them installed on all of our bass boat trailers when we were still building bass boats.
my buddy has them on his SeaRay, they seem to work well. Not sure how you'd use them on an inboard without taking the platform off.

Seems like too much money for a simple ratcheting tie down. I'll stick with my kmart special ratchets. 12 bucks for 4 i believe, can't beat that.

I don't take the platform off to get my regular straps on.
