So we camped all weekend... and rode for 3 days straight.. sooooo I thought it to be a good idea to leave the cover off last night and today for it to dry out real well before I took it back to storage..... I come home tonight to clean it up and there is yellow bird poo/whatever... from a bird that apparently produces superglue and dye.... See pictures... I tried the Mastercraft upholstery cleaner that came with our boat (2010 X2) and it will NOT come off... I am frusterated!... my baby cannot have pee stains on her!
any suggestions? See pictures... this is after i scrubbed with the cleaner and a terry cloth rag...

Try using hot water and dish soap with a medium bristle brush. Don't be afraid to apply some pressure on the brush. Then rinse with clean water and apply 303.

Try the "Magic Eraser". It has removed stuff from my seats that nothing else would touch.

Magic Eraser will probably work, but you might want to exhaust everything else on MC's recommended products list first. My understanding is that Magic Eraser will remove some of the protective outer layers of the vinyl.

The sun can also be your friend. Clean it (with products suggested above) and let it sit out in the sunlight (in an area not well traveled by this bird).

Well, you learn something every day... I have a couple of spots that look like that as well, had no idea what they were from. They won't come off with MC cleaners (already tried). I'm going to try the above suggested tonight.

Got a couple spots like that, small though, spider poo?
I've used Malco Vinyl Cleaner on mine and it got the white vinyl pretty darn bright, but did nothing for the yellow spots.
And yes, sunlight is a big help with alot of stains.
My sunpad and the top of the front seat were alomost brown from the black cover sitting on the boat. Even a couple days in the sun with the cover on seems to stain the vinyl. Malco does a decent job of whitening it back up, but a couple days in the sun does almost as good.

You're incorrect. the Yellow tasty sandwich stuff on your sun pad, is actually >> Bee Poop...<< (http://www.beefolks.com/shopcontent.asp?type=faq14)

I have gotten this on my boats a few times and I've treid everything from magic eraser to dabbing a damp cloth of mineral spirits on it none of which worked. However they usually manage to dissappear from just fading in the sun. They will dissappear completely. Just forget about it and in about a month of normal boat usage it will be gone. I'm not exactly sure if its the sun that fades them away but that was my only conclusion. I have not had one that hasn't gone away.

Yes, good info here. Got a couple spots too that the MC cleaners don't remove. Appreciate it -

I will try the tilex...but it says right on the goof of bottle not to use on vinyl. Have you done so with good results?
