We finally got one! Just a couple of questions from the newbies:

Fuel gauge is pegged when key is turned. After a little reading this sounds like it's a float or a sending unit. We'll look into that.

Dash gauge lights are out. I'm guessing a fuse. All gauges work, just not the backlighting. Where might I find the fuse for these? Might it be something else?

Can I get a service manual anywhere?

Thanks so much- glad I found this site with so many Mastercraft fans!

Welcome to the club. That's a sharp boat and I like the Monster Tower.

1) Yes, gas gauge issues are common check the in tank unit first.
2) None of your dash lights come on or just some? Also when you turn your Nav lights on do the dash light and nav lights should come on, do they? Could be fuse, loose connection or bad bulb.
3) If you email Team MC they will send you an "owners" manual for free but don't know what to tell you about "service" manual.

2) None of the dash lights come on. When we turn the Nav lights on, still nothing.

Thanks!

If I remember correctly, there is an individual bulb on the back of each instrument, but it seems odd that all would go out. Check to see if they look burned out; if not, probably either a fuse or wiring issue.

Welcome. Unfortunately, I don't think skidim has the sending unit for your MC. Betsy posted the part number yeseterday for the sending unit for her 93. I believe it's the same for yours. Runs about $80.

I like Brian's approach. Look at your Nav light. If it's not coming on either, check the fuse. If it is, check the bulb.

most of the lights get power from a common wire, off the Nav/Anchor light. I bet a spade connector has come loose; this is where a good test light or DVM comes in very handy. Probably the sending unit on tank but check the ground on your gauge. congrats on the new ride!

Congrats on the new ride!

I had a 94 just like that, same colors with an LT-1 powerslot.
What engine is in yours and where are you from?
(just wondering if it's my old boat?)
