The NEW TT Boats will look like this!!! Pretty AWESOME looking PS 197 and 190s
"Many of you already know but MasterCraft has secured the contract with the IWWF International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation to pull the World Championships for the next 6 years. One of the changes you will see as is the Tournament Team, TT is now the World Tournament Team, WTT. For 2011 we are also offering the WTT boats in two different color schemes. Base boat on the WTT includes 5.7 motor with 1:26 to 1 trans, Bimini, and Zero Off 3 Event"

Love the subtle S&S and the red boat's color is a throwback to Hull No. 1.

I do not know it the ILMOR's have been sanctioned yet by AWSA / USA WATERSKI or if they
even need to be!!

Okay, couple of questions.
Can these graphics be had with either the 190 or 197?
Can you order the options you want including an upgraded engine package?

What does the approval process consist of?
Acceleration and the ability to work with Zero Off for the most part. Details can be found on the USA-WS website.
The goal is to try to keep the boats used in tournaments standardized. If I ski behind a 190 in Florida it would be the same 190 used to pull a skier in Michigan. The hull, engine and prop are listed for approved boats and those are the combinations that must be used in tournaments.

This boat, in red, with the listed options, (bimini, zero-off, 1.26:1 tranny), but equipped with the now-defunct 8.1 would make me sell everything I own to have one.
I wonder if the Ilmor engines are going to make 8.1-levels of power/torque.

Sharp looking boats. The WTT graphic is long and appears a bit tacked on and clutteref IMO. Possibly a someday hard to find decal in six years

The 2011 WTT that I skied behind had a nifty camera mount on the tower with all of the power cables integrated. I can't say enough about the upholstery. It looks and feels like it will last forever.

It seems to me that if you're going to have a bimini anyway, you might as well have the available applications of the tower as well. I have never been in favor of towers, but this is getting closer to the mark of what I could accept. The new WTT's are so choice it would take a lot to make it look like a dog.

By the way, the above pictured WTT will have a "Bubbler Hole" drilled into it shortly! The owner (Eric Lee) is the same fella' that drilled one in his 2004 and swore he would do the same on his new boat. He's the #3 Men's 55+ Tricker in the world and definitely prefers the Mastercraft trick wake, but finds the "bubbler" softens the slalom wake considerably, and I believe him. I don't know which one of us is crazier.

MasterCraft has been using this tower going on the 4 year.
