Last week I read where someone replied to a question about cleaning the carpet. The response was that they once a year washed the carpet and then used a shop vac to vacuum out the dirty water from the carpet. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to whomever shared that with this forum.
I did that yesterday and sucked about 5 gallons of nasty water out of my carpet! I didn't realize how dirty it was until after I finished this little excercise. Now not only is my carpet cleaner, the nap is now standing back up since I vacuumed against the grain. I am very pleased with this tip.
THANK YOU and once again this forum has been very helpful.
