I would like to replace the black keel roller with one of the new non-marring ones. Most likley one like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=26455&item=4547096728&sspagename=rvi%3A1%3A3v_home

Has anyone tried one of these?? How did it work??

We use one of these and they work great. Our biggest problem is that we need to change the bunks on our trailer. Old worn out, saggy bunks will cause rubbing from the keel roller. Ours is now 12 years old, we don't tow with it except to the launch ramp, which is very close, and then back to the garage. Just aging and we all know that aging sucks! B

I got one from overtons last year. Hang on to the axle though. The one that came with our new roller was too short.

I too bought one from Overton's and would highly recommend it. I had a problem with the little caps popping off the end of the axle/shaft, so I drilled it and installed SS washers and cotter pins (but it seems that Doug said he never had a similar problem).

Yeah, my problem was it took a chizzel to get the old caps off. Haven't really noticed any missing caps or keel rollers. Will check tonight.
