Ok,
We all know we love Boats... What else is everyone into? I got the Bug after 9-11 to get back into Motorcycles.. I only ride on Tracks and I have been coaching for a organazation www.sportbiketracktime.com for several years and just cant get enough.. If anyone has a Sportbike in the South East and would like to come to one of our events please let me know.. I cut my Footing/Skiing time in half but its kind of nice having a second hobby for that Adrenaline... Here are a few Pics over the years...

And Ski Nautiques?

Yeah, that, too.

Ever since I scaled up to 10 gallon batches, I have to brew close enough to the fermentation fridge so that I can pump the beer to it. No way I'm lifting a 15 gallon stainless vessel with 11.5 gallons of liquid in it into that chest freezer, much less drag it around from the back yard.

Thus, the boat ends up in lots of pictures.

By the way, soon the kegerator will be a built in.

I'll answer for him. No, the hump adds a bit of aerodynamics, a bit of extra protection, and, on some suits, a place to put ice that slowly melts down your back to keep you cool. I'm a no hump guy. Personal preference.

I have done many trackdays at Nashville on 2 wheels.. Great Fun Track... Wide open in 6th Gear on the Highbank about up to 185 then down to a first Gear Turn... Its kind of like a Mini Daytona Track.. Just remember get on the transitions late and off early... That Banking is steep!! We started running as night event there 3 Years ago.. Its a Blast...

Very cool, i've been to the Canyons too, nice place! I checked out Telluride for the first time this year and it was awesome! All the hills around me are about 15-30 seconds for a run, so anywhere out west is always a treat.

Ma-A-Fre is still around but the Land Cruiser aftermarket has really expanded the last couple years. Lots of good parts available.

My family has a place on Blue Ridge, which is where our X9 stays and where I do almost all my skiing, boarding, fishing, frog gigging and a lot of fourwheeler riding. Good times. :D

Never been on Seed, some family friends have a place on Rabun just below the Seed dam, and I ride with another friend on Burton, so I know the area- beautiful!

I know Seed is pretty small, but maybe not many boats so good water?

I used to be into bikes as well...both dirt and street. I had an RM125, CR 250, Superhawk, and R1. Also used to have a sport quad...Z400. The hobbies are now more limited due to the job, wife, and little girl.

Summer...watersports.

Winter....Skiing/Snowboarding & Snowmobiling.

I haven't met him yet. We bought our house a year ago this month, so there are still lots of people to meet.

The jump and houseboat are still there, saw someone go off two weeks ago. Got a neighbor that I ride with that knows Donald, supposed to go by and introduce me one of these days.

The river is where its at! Our house is on the river end of the lake, best way to describe it would be 3rd group of houses as you are going upriver from the jump.

Either on the mountain or in the air. The thrill of being behind the wheel of a boat is awesome, but it is nothing like being behind the yoke of an aircraft and being able to fly it wherever you want, and pretty much whatever speed that bird can muster. There is also a freedom of being up on top of the world and riding down on beautiful powder.

And now for something completely different- I like tractor pulling, old tractors, and vintage plow days. I also like just about anything with a motor. Gave up on motorcycles after the last wreck, but still do 4 wheelers, drag race a little, mess with old cars and rods, but the pulling thing is what keeps me from enjoying the MC more. Just got done with 3 pulling events in the last 3 days. No Labor Day boating for me... Had a good weekend- a 1st, 3rd, 4th, and a 5th.

Some of you guitar players might appreciate this. Taylor GC7 guitar I bought new last December. Cedar top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck with slotted head... I've been learning fingerstyle for the last couple of years, mostly delta blues type stuff with a few Led Zep and Allman Bros acoustic tunes to keep it interesting. I also have a Voyage-Aire travel guitar, an old Washburn 6-string, a cheap Alvarez 12-string, a 1967 vintage Gibson EB3 bass, and a Fender ukulele!

That and slalom waterskiing are my only two hobbies, though I do enjoy cooking and drinking. :friday:

That is pretty good, I flew into First Flight last April. Something special about going back to where flight began and being able to fly into that very spot. What made you get out of flying.

Initially, I sold the plane so my wife and I could buy our first house. Also, I was getting a little bored with it. Then I got into waterskiing which pretty much replaced flying as my "hobby." I've flown with my father and some of his friends several times since (in left and right seats). My father owns an RV6. He's 80 years old now and will probably have to stop flying soon. Sometimes I think about buying his plane from him. I should be able to get a family discount, don't you think?
