Quick question...on a new X7 my wakeboard pro perfect pass lake temperature gauge is showing way low...the lake is bathwater warm and it still shows 56 degrees. The air temp is perfect, as is everything else.
Before I bug the dealer...thought I would ask.
Thanks in advance.

Been there done that on my 2004 210VRS (I installed the Wakeboard Pro last month). This is a known flaw in the system. It does have a very simple fix.
Per Aaron at Perfect Pass, the Perfect Pass wiring harness (6 wire rectangular plug with the male electrical fittings) has a red wire, which is the wire that feeds the water temp signal from the paddle wheel to the Perfect Pass computer. The hookup on my 210 was right behind the kickboard and I suspect yours is too. But I didn't have to undo the kickboard. If you model has forward seating, just lift the seat in front of the drive and look underneath and you should see it. You can either cut the red wire or I un-did the connection and pushed the pin out and taped it down the cable and reconnected. Water temp now works as before, through the factory rpm display.
The problem is only one temp display can be driven at one time and the easist fix is to cut that red wire. I've found that I prefer getting the backup data (temp, clock, hours and depth) through the rpm gauge and leave Wakeboard Pro display to its only purpose.
