How many MC folks (or family members) are scuba divers?

I do not wish to violate any rules, but have to be excited to tell that my first book (and it is on sport diving) has been published and is on Amazon!

For me: I have been diving about 25 years. My wife dives (certified while we were engaged) and both my teenagers dive (certified last summer). We have about 15 in my church of about 150 that dive. :)

I dive. Working on my Divemaster rating, and getting into Technical diving.

I love it.

Of course, I love nearly anything associated with water.

I went diving last night at the La Jolla Cove. Do you have a link to the book, or at least a title? Always interested in new literature!

EDIT: Saw it in your signature :)

I've been PADI advanced open water cert since 86. Took all my classes while I was stationed in Hawaii, no other place like it.

Both my wife and I have been PADI Open water certified since 2004. Maui has been our best dive experience so far.

My wife and I are certified divers. We enjoy it. Don't get to do it as much as we like.

My wife and I are both NAUI Certified but haven't been diving in years. We were supposed to go the last time we were in Cozumel but a wicked sinus infection had me to plugged up to trust myself.

Congrats on the book!

I've been PADI certified since 1989 and my wife is NAUI certified since 1996. If it were possible I would live under water.

Been certified for about 10 years, but really only vacation dive now. Still love it, just don't have enough time to shoot hoops with my kids, go to their sports events, play golf, ride my motorcycle, get out on the lake with either the waverunners or the boat, go skiing, go boarding, go surfing, go hiking, go mountain biking, etc. etc...oh yeah, and go to work, too...that's kinda' the only part that sucks...

Only dove one time, Great Barrier Reef, while in Australia/New Zealand studying abroad last spring...

Not certified, so the dives were "supervised" but still tons of fun and I can certainly see why people get so in to it!

PADI Openwater Certified since May 2006. Favorite Dive spot to date is Bonaire, been there 3 times since certification and have yet to top it.

This is great. We were just talking about a group trip to Cozumel with some friends last night. Several said they wanted to go. And several who weren't certified said they would be by the trip date. We love it.

Now that I am older, I do the comfortable stuff. No more cold stuff. No more zero visibility stuff. Vacation conditions for me from now on.

I had a few friends who were on the fence review the book. That got them over the edge and they are in class. :)

This sounds familiar! If I was a diver, it would be just one more thing that I wouldn't get a chance to do!! If I just didn't have to work, that would free up a lot of time! I would love to try it sometime though.
