Tower speakers inop

I have no output from the clarion head unit to the rear (tower ) amp. If I swap outputs on the back of the head unit, the tower speakers work fine. So I know the problem is with the head unit. I've done the processor reset, checked fuses and all settings, fade, balance etc. I have an 04 X30. Anything I'm missing before I pull it and send it in for repair?

The output for the rear channel is defaulted for a subwoofer so it is not a full frequency signal. Everytime the battery is disconnected it resets it to the default. Your manual should have section on how to make the rear output a full frequency signal.
