Frequently the alarm goes off on my 2007 PS197 TT and the
Multi-Function Gauge flashes "Chk Eng". I have to hit the "Selection Display" toggle switch several times to turn off the alarm. Any idea how to fix this problem?

How many start-up/cool down cycles have you been through?

If all your gauges look normal, it is pretty likely that it was/is a low voltage alarm and it will clear itself after 3 warm-up/cool down cycles. It is a pain in the butt having such a vague check engine alarm. I am in the process of getting the software and cable for my laptop that will allow for me to check the ECM when the alarm goes off to see if the problem is minor or major.

It seems to happen within the first 5 minutes of operation. All the gauges are working correctly and the multi-function gauge goes through its startup cycle correctly. I have both Zero-off and Stargazer attached to the MMDC, but only one operational at a time so maybe they are causing low voltage. Me and my ski buddies do not like Zero-off so I may disconnect that unit to see if it corrects the problem.
