I have a 1995 Prostar 190 and have some mildew problems. Probably came from lack of protectant but does anyone have a good solution for removing it safely?

Any help is appreciated.

Fantastik is safe on vinyl (and reccomended by G&T and MC) and works well on mildew. If it is just a few small spots try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Follow up with an application of 303 protectant.

Don't use anything like 409 or bleach. These are no-no products and can damage the vinyl.

So, Fantastic is recommended?? Thatís good to know. I never really paid a lot of attention to the threads on this subject but I may do a good cleaning this year. Donít think I need it but, why not?? Then I will use the 303..

Thank you for the quick responses. Bought the Fantastik and will see how it goes.

How'd it work out? Fantastik is an approved cleaner per my '02 manual, but if you have bad mildew it can be difficult still. Here is some good info on 303's website regarding cleaning vinyl (they use an amonia mixture)...

The Fantastik works fine. I do have some stains so I will try out the recommendations on the link posted to 303.
