There's no doubt where my loyalty lies, but I've skied many a slalom run behind my brother-in-law's '99 Supra comp, and it's got a solid hole shot and a soft wake. I'll never turn down a pull behind it.

I wish somebody I worked with had a ski boat I could trade sets behind.

Today at work I overheard two guys talking about boats. The one guys says that he has a Supra. The other guys asks what type of boat is that? He replied that it is a ski boat and is just like a MasterCraft. So I stepped in and let them know that all inboards are NOT equal. Nothing is equal to a MasterCraft except another MasterCraft. Just thought I'd pass this on to you guys. :friday:

Hey you proved my bumper sticker is correct again

"another A$$hole with a Mastercraft".....

while i agree that not all inboards are created equal, a Supra is a damn fine boat, as well as CC's, Bu's and well moomba's are Ok. You did a disservice to other MC owners that don't want to be viewed as an A-hole. Some of the guys that ski the same spot as me have CC's, actually all of them do, and I'm proud of the fact that i'm not stuck up about the fact that I have a MC, the best ski boat made. He was just trying to describe the boat anyway, he used the best to get the other guy to understand, that in itself is a testament to the MC name.

Last Sunday I skied behind a 1993 MasterCraft ProStar 190.
Monday thru Thursday behind a 1996 MasterCraft ProStar 190.
Friday behind a 1994 MasterCraft ProStar 190.
Today behind the 1993 MasterCraft ProStar 190.
Tomorrow behind the 1994 MasterCraft ProStar 190.
and Monday it starts all over again.
If you didn't get the clue yet, it is, MasterCraft, MasterCraft, MasterCraft, MasterCraft, MasterCraft, MasterCraft,
ProStar 190, ProStar 190, ProStar 190, ProStar 190, ProStar 190 :D

The guy catty-wampus from my river place has a 88 sunsport. Oddly enough - all he does (at 71 years old) is barefoot. 351 Windsor that tops out at 41. That's all he needs. He frequently pulls 2 & 3 long-line footers at once. 1400 hours & still going. Not a bad boat at all. Great wake to hide in when the rollers come also. I tell you - that boat can stop a 3' roller if you're in the opposite curl!

It's no MC though.... My loyality is here - that's for sure.

Scott, I have heard a similiar story about those varmints tearing up interiors. My brother in law always puts moth balls in his boat before storing it. I was thinking about trying that this year just as a precaution.
