Seems like I have a lot of water in the boat after a couple of hours in the water. I think its coming from the prop shaft thru the hull. Are there any adjustment possible to correct? I have a 92 pro star 205 Thanks Dave

Where your shaft goes through the hull is the packing. It is supposed to leak a little to keep the packing lubricated. If it is leaking a lot you can tighten the nut a little to slow it down.

Go just a little at a time and check it. 1/4 turn at most. Don't want to over tighten it

To add to what these guys said - there is a locking nut and the packing nut that has waxed rope inside the nut. You'll need two large wrenches. Loosen the locking nut and then you can adjust the packing nut tightness (1/4 turn?), then re-tighten the locking nut and test for drip. You want it to drip anywhere from 2-5 times a minute approx. Check while underway with floor open so you can see it. You might want to get the wax rope and replace what is in there if it hasn't been done in a while. The wax rope is cheap and can be found at skidim.com. You only need a 1 ft length. I just changed mine out a month or two ago.
