New Slalom World Record

Chris Parrish set a new slalom world record of 2@43 off at a tournament at the Ski Ranch in Covington, Louisiana, on June 13. The record, which was set behind the new [*Beep*] 200, is pending approval from the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF).

Parrish twice tied his previous slalom world record of 1.5@43 off during qualifying for the Ski Ranch tournament. The next day, he broke his own world record with this run of 2@43 off.

“I’m so excited,” Parrish says. “I want to thank [*beep*] for their support and for building the new Ski [*beep*] 200, the world’s best ski boat! I could not have done this behind any other boat.”

Congrats to Chris... but what a preposterous statement!

As for the boat comment - I've never skied behind one so I don't know any different. I know my MC has a great slalom wake.

Um, yea...weren't the balls on some type of device to move them in a little for that run?! ;)

As for the boat comment - I've never skied behind one so I don't know any different. I know my MC has a great slalom wake.

I skied behind one. Pretty nice, but I can't say it's any better than a Prostar. I'm sure the brand of boat was near the bottom of the list of factors that helped him break the record. :cool:

I don't think a CC hull is wide enough at the transom to put that on it.
