I broke one of the RED marker lamp on trailer of my prostar. I looked all over and I cant find one. I tried auto parts stores, RV dealers, and marine places and I cant find even a similar match. so can anyone direct me to a place where I can buy one of these? I dont care if I have to pay shipping. so it doenst matter how far it is. ANyone got any ideas??
Thanks!! :)

I sometimes see them at the wal-mart. When I do, I buy them up so I have a few on hand. Seems that you always need one fore one reason or an other..

All the ones I found dont have the 2 wire sealed unit style. I dont see anything on overtons that would be similar. I havent tried walmart yet. The are all self gounded which is not what is on the trailer. and none of the ones I have found have the same bolt mounting setup as the ones on the trailer. I wouldnt think these would be SO hard to find on a relatively not that old boat (1991) and being its a MC trailer. so can I get this from a MC dealer? I really dont want to have to modify the trailer and drill new holes if at all possible.
IF i have to get a different style, I will, but I at least want a sealed type lamp and 2 wires would be nice so I dont have to solder a wire to the self ground thing.
any more ideas??

My local NAPA was loaded with them. I had to replace a couple and keep a couple as spares for the ole 93.

I just had my trailer lights replaced by my local MC dealer (Grand Rapids, MIch.). You can check out Action Water Sports at www.actionwater.com.
BTW - They have a store in Traverse City in case you get down that way occasionally.

I had the same problem last year on my '91 MC trailer. The original light assembly was a sealed rectangular unit about 2" X3". I searched all over the net and around town with no luck. I ended up replacing all the light assemblies with units like the one MarkP depicts on a previous post except the base is chrome instead of black. The sealed bulb pops out of the base for eazy replacement. The light assembly and replacement bulbs are readily available at any auto parts store, Walmart, etc.
You will have to drill new holes in your fender but the new light assembly will cover up the old hole(s). The light assemblies had the ground wire already soldered to the ground stud also. Hope this helps.

Nope thats not the one. I think I am going to have to use a different style as I have looked just about everywhere. I am sure there is one sitting on a shelf somewhere collecting dust...... :(
its no big, deal, but It would have been nice to use the exact replament. just easier.....

That photo is of the marker lights I use. The oval stop/turn , are available at walmart all of the time (it seems). I don’t remember the brand, but I think the brand actually varies.

I had the same ones on my 91 trailer. Rambo Marine stocks them.
I use to order 3 of each color at a time.

When I sold my old boat last fall I gave the new owner 2 or 3 of them, I guess I should have kept them!

Sory for the NAPA advice! That is not what is on my trailer. Go original and it looks like you have found them.
