for you guys with 351's with powerslot transmissions. What kind of gallon/hour usage are you getting? I've never done the calculation, and my fuel gauge doesn't always work right, so i'm trying to figure out roughly how much gas I have.

Page 4 of this article (http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/local_links.php?action=jump&id=21) says 5 gph @ 25 mph and 16 gph @ 45 mph.
From my experience, that sounds about right. I know it dosent take much time barefooting and horsing around to have a empty tank. On the other hand, seems like the tank lasts forever when pulling the kids slow.

I was always given 12 gallons per hour as a rough figure, which would be in line, assuming ski speeds, with what pslot posted.

At the end of the day we seem to average about 5 gal. an hour on the water. If we were running the boat the whole time it would be much less.Someone said that the powerslot gets less mpg. than the 1-1 trans.
I only have owned the powerslot so I have nothing to compare it to.

My last tank I got 6.3 gph and the one before that I got 4.5. Thats mainly pulling kids around slow 22-27 mph. 1990,TriStar 220, 454ci

From my limited experience so far I am finding about 7-8 gallons per hour with a combination of idling around the lake and some mixed skiing and boarding. 3 hours of Barefooting and I was able to find an empty tank though
