83' S&S Gas Tank Access??

Maybe this is a stupid question. How do you access the gas tank / transom behind the rear seat in an 83' S&S? I pick up the boat on Monday. When I looked at it I moved the rear seat out and if I remember it looked like one solid panel that extended from the top to the floor.

Remove the rear seat and there should be a vertical panel behind the seat that pulls out or unscrews and behind that is the gas tank.
