Sorry to threadjack, but does anyone know the best way to get matching paint for the sand/tan/cream color from that era? I need to restore an '84 trailer this summer while the boat is on the lift and will need paint for the trailer frame. Any way to get a color code that can then be used to mix some rustoleum or other paint? Thanks for the help.

I used rustoleum right off the shelf and I think it matches really well

Any auto paint supply can shoot the finish with their computer equipment and get a formula to use from the readings.
