What should someone expect from an impeller hose in term of hours or years? A buddy and I towed in a 2001 X30 (with his Mobius and boy did I get an ear full from him) with 160 hours this morning because he blew his hose? I guess I will add that to the backup list of parts to keep in the boat.

Most of my hoses appear to be the originals (1993) (minus the one I cut too short for the raw water filter).
Did you actually see the hose? It may have just come loose. Okay, I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt. lol
I have an '02 with 433 hours - all original hoses and they look fine.

I got 23 years on mine and they still look good.
I bet the hose just came loose. It can happen, just ask H2OGirl
