Is it me or are these oil bath hubs a complet pain in the a$$?

I had a leaking seal, so I figure well I better replace all of them..no biggie. I did it..DAMN 2 leaked water.

Ok replaced the 2 that leaked...good for 1 trip to the lake (10 miles RT) and they are leaking again.

The seals are riding where the oem ones were...what gives? What am I missing?

I had one of my 4 seals that I had to replace 3 times to get it to stop leaking. I think I must have slightly dented the first 2 causing them to leak.

Make sure you check your screw-on hub oil caps. The original ones on mine were plastic so I replaced them all with the aluminum ones. (one of my plastic ones was cracked allowing water into the oil)

Mine are metal, and not screw on...they are just like bearing buddies without the grease fitting and a sight glass
