'08 x-14, taking on an excessive amount of water at shaft. auto bildge pump starts to cycle after maybe 15 minutes in water. It took me awhile to locate it, but today after pulling out of the water, crawled under and water was coming out of bottom side of shaft, running down keel.

Is this an alignment issue? Stuffing box? Haven't ever had to mess with either of these on past boats, so all new to me. Just wondering if there is something I can do w/o dragging it to dealer.

Thanks.

Your boat shouldn't have a 'stuffing box' per se, it'll be a dripless seal. Your seal is likely leaking. No fix for that, other than replacing the seal.

I feel your pain, my wakeplate control wire is leaking to the tune of about 1Gal/hour. I've been taking it out of the water during the week when I'm not there just to make sure she's OK.

Talk to Eric @ OJ Props about this. From what I've read on this forum he know's exactly what's up....
