Does anyone know the stock camshaft specs for an 87 Prostar? I find myself in need of replacing my cam and lifters and don't know what to order. Also, any suggestions of what hotter cam to use would be great too. Nothing radical, just looking for a little boost while I'm having to replace it anyway! Thanks, Keith

Thomas can probably tell you, too. If you do a search for "more power 351" or something along those lines, you might find some discussions of cam options in the meantime.

on a 87 351 it will be the same cam that is in the 351 HO in the trucks, it will have a 416 lift, you can proably go up to a 450 lift with out changing anything else

I haven't been able to find any numbers in any of the other threads. Anyone have any idea of the stock cam? Jim, anyone..... :D
