2005 Prostar 197 Tower Bolts...

I am in the process of tightening the large allen head bolts that connect the tower to the boat (where the tower and boat come together).....

These allen bolts are pretty large -- does anyone know if MC utilized SAE or metric allen head bolts in 2005?

Does anyone know the size of the allen wrench I will need to purchase so I can effectively tighten these bolts?

I'm gonna say they're SAE because I had the right size in my old tool box, no metrics in there. Don't know the size though....3/8? maybe.

it was an SAE because it was also in my toolbox .... unfortunately that allen wrench is in my boat 263 miles away

It is a 1/2" Allen Wrench.
