whoa!! Brad beat me to the door??

I think I'm buying a round <checkingwallet> for a couple of folks, but I'll start with a Monte Alban on the rocks.

Man, I need to unload some homebrew. I've had an English Nut Brown Ale in the keg for a long time now. It's still very good, but I'm trying to polish it off soon so I can use the keg fridge for some lagering (trying to get a Vienna Lager done by Oktoberfest never gonna make it, but sometime thereafter).

I've got around twenty Belgian Black Ales in the box (don't drink the sediment).

I'll be out of town this weekend, but if you guys can get in the garage, feel free to polish off the keg. Don't touch the boat! ;)

Yuck,

I guess I could start with that.

(sick and throwing up smile face)

Do you really use that stuff. What’s your usual? You strike me as someone that would have a more refined pallet. (did I spell that right)

Knoxes

Actually, I don't drink.

My days here are numbered, aren't they.

MarkP

Knoxes, Not true at all:) ..

Hey guys we have a designated driver:woohoo: Drink UP!!!!

Anyway about the “M Alban,” Although the taste may seem somewhat complex, the relatively quick method of production offers a sort of putrid taste and finish.

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 10:52 AM
Well, I had a fairly quick method of ingesting too.... ;)

BriEOD

Yeah Doug, how bout that home brew!

And Brad I see you and Tim always going out. *** dudes, to good to ask the rest of us. Yeah, sure we won't come but man isn't it polite just to invite us. You never know Andre might show up at your camp site with 60K cans of Moosehead with English/Spanish lablels! :D

Knoxes,

You don't drink but start this thread (just about) every Friday. Isn't that kind of an oxymoron?

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 01:15 PM
Why yes it is, my friend, yes it is. But I'm still happy to serve them up and buy a beer or two...

BriEOD
08-20-2004, 01:20 PM
That cool man...you can jump on I-77 to I-26 anytime and come buy me a beer.

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 01:23 PM

Brad - since I'm a moron and can't figure out how to post a pick of my boat on here, I'd like to grab one of yours since our boats are almost identical (yours is much cleaner).

bradamerry
08-20-2004, 01:49 PM
Send me an email and I will shoot you a pic. Maybe than you can look at my settings to see where you are wrong! bradamerry@aol.com,

Knoxes

heh. I'm jest kidding... I'll get it figgered out. But they are almost exactly the same. My interior stripe is a bit different. Maroon over beige, right?

I have some images, but I just can't get them sized right for TT.

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 02:16 PM
Yeah, you and I have the same year, right? But he and I have the same color scheme and I think the hull stripes are identical, aren't they?

bradamerry
08-20-2004, 02:18 PM
Yes same stripe, mine is white and maroon.

BriEOD
08-20-2004, 02:20 PM

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 03:33 PM
I'm so friggin confused. All I know is that's my boat. Those are my wife's shorts on the motor cover and the woman beside in the meeting raspberried twice just now.

Did I miss something

Knoxes

raspberry = mouth fart

MarkP
08-20-2004, 03:43 PM
I know what that word is but what is “your boat“. Who has your wife’s shorts and why is some woman making faces at you:confused:

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 03:45 PM
My boat:

MarkP

Thanks Knoxes. I get it.. Sorry I’m a little slow today..

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 03:52 PM
You are never slower than me, my friend.

If that pic was a bit bigger, you could see the lovely extra "stripes" on the hull AND the oxidation.

You might also be able to see the Belk's house (as in Belk's Department Stores Corp).

MarkP
08-20-2004, 03:56 PM
Knoxes can you email the original photo I'll see what I can do

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 03:59 PM
Well, I could, but it's 18M.

Really, thanks a lot Mark, but my wife's a graphic designer and CAN do this stuff if I can ever get her to sit down long enough...

I do appreciate the offer.

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 04:07 PM
Actually, on second thought, she'll never get around to doing it - maybe I will if you don't mind...

MarkP
08-20-2004, 04:08 PM
Well sit her down. :toast: I was going to say something about giving her shorts back first, but I wont:o

MarkP
08-20-2004, 04:08 PM

heh. They're there. See the tiny blue pile on the top of the motor cover?

And I'm sure she's thrilled there's so much interest... :D

MarkP
08-20-2004, 06:39 PM
:o !!

Nice shack in the background. What lake again?

Knoxes
08-20-2004, 08:36 PM
Lake Norman, just outside of Charlotte. That's the Belk house - I don't know if their stores are in Pa - pretty big chain of upscale department stores - but I think they're just in the southeast.

MarkP
08-20-2004, 08:54 PM
That name doesn’t ring a bell.

Must be nice. I’ll bet its Just a second or a third home too
