NGK's in mine. Spend the bucks for a good HOT plug. You'll regret it if you use a cheap Champion like plug

I have no knowledge about NGKs, but for the record, mine has run consistently strong with plain old copper Autolite 764s.

AC Delco Platinum Tips, but I can't remember the part number.

ETS, I will check some notes at home but I beleive a 764 is 1 range hotter than recomended. I always burned the AC R42LTS

George, when I got my manual from MasterCraft, there was a handwritten notation in the manual that this was the correct plug for the 351 HO. I recall confirming this plug choice on the board two years ago or so. If you find out that the 764 is wrong, please let me know as I recommended it to someone yesterday who PM'd me about it.
I've previously been adviced not to go plantinum on older engines like mine. Anyone have an opinion on this?
Here's what skidim (http://skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=RP030007) sells. Of course, they don't tell you the part number. But it is an Autolite.

Tennesseeski, is it the 351 or the 351 HO? The 93 Prostar Manual is up online now. They have plug recommendations in there.

It would be unusal for a 93 not to be the HO engine, they started using it in 92, unless it's a 93 LT-1. I can tell you ac r42lts works and was recommended by several in the know people.

All I know is I changed the plugs in my car and boat at the same time...Car plugs $2.49, boat plugs $6.99. Car got platinums, boat got the exact same thing that came out from the factory.
From the same auto parts store.

The 351 HO has GT-40 heads and is rated at 285 HP. One indication (although not 100% accurate is a sticker on your engine shroud that says 285). I believe the 351 HO has a dual feed carb as opposed to its 250 hp relative 351, but I don't know that for a fact.

The engine would be marked with a sticker 285HO. You can check on the heads and see if you can find a stamp that says GT-40, You could pull a spark plug and see if it has a long threaded neck, you could look at the carb, if it is silver-aluminum your a 285, there is a slim possibility that the carb was changed to a bronze one, you could call indmar with your serial number. Or beleive me that in 93 they were all 285HO except the LT1 corvette engine.
