hi every one new too the mastercraft world i nee to convert my 2006 x2 mcx to a closed system but they want huge money for the parts does any one know why its so different they any other engine say a merc or omc who has done this and does anyone have any pics diags please thanks

I would guess the MCX was never marinized for a closed system.

Both my 03 X30 and my 07X2 had MCX's that were closed water cooled.

Maybee you could find a kit from here: http://www.monitorpro.com/

As long as you only go for a block only kit, you should be able to get a kit for 1000$ or lower. If you want freshwater cooling on the manifoild/riser as well it's ALOT more expensive.

Wow I always thought you had to get the Cadi engine back then.
