I have two labs who love the boat. It is easy for me to help them out of the water onto the swim platform... but i don't want to help every time. (This isn't laziness... they want to play fetch for hours.) Any ideas/photos of good systems that can be temporarily mounted to the swim platform? Bonus if it can protect the gelcoat as they climb back over the stern.

from looking at the doggy dock on petclassics that would almost be easy enough to make one using those floating knoodles a little vinyl and mesh a small platform and there ya go... for probably a 1/4th the cost and a little time

you probably wouldn't even need to platform if you can hook the noodles some how to bracket of platform so you don't ruin teak

I just do a dog life jacket that has a handle on top - makes it easy to lift the dog back in.

Also, my dog scratched my teak once and I was not happy. I went and bought a large black commercial mat to put over it and it actually drapes into the water a bit. The dog has learned to hold onto the platform with his front feet while waiting for me to throw the ball again. It isnt the prettiest but it saves my teak!

I don't think I'd be able to pull a 130 lbs great dane in that way though
