View Full Version : INJ/ECM Fuse blowing...Please Help!!!

Hey guys,
I went to drop my 2000 Xstar in yesterday for the 1st time this season and it wouldn't fire. Turned over like a champ just no fire, just like if the kill switch wasn't hooked in. So after about 20min of trouble shooting I discovered that the INJ/ECM fuse on top of the motor was blown. I actually had a spare fuse so I threw that in and it immediately blew again. My limited electrical knowledge tells me that something is bare or crossed somewhere, but I have no idea of where to start. There was nothing blatent where a mouse had got in during storage and chewed through or anything. Does anyone out there have any advice? I hate the thought of having to take it in to a dealership right now but that may be my only option. :(
Btw, I swapped out my old cd player for an upgraded clarion and I had to replace my PP servo motor...those are the only mods I did in the off-season and I don't see where I could've done anything to cause a short.
Thanks in advance!!
