hi, does anyone have any info on the shaft seal in a zf /hurth v drive )GEARBOX
ZF HURTH
Model ZF 65 1V-1.6 )
ive just priced up the seals and they are astronomical in price.
im just wondering if they are only an ordinary seal i can get matched up for a realistic price? or are they specials?

I have them on my desk somewhere and need to locate them. I think both lower seals were about 80 bucks. I do know that they are GM seals.

Okay, the company is Trans Atlantic Diesels in Virginia, http://www.tadiesels.com/. The big lower seal is part number 0734319742, it was $54. The middle smaller seal is part number is 0734319741, it was $35. I have the pics from the seal job I did on mine if you'd like to see them. Hope this helps!

hi gus any pics or possible numbers would be gret thanks, here in the uk the seals from m/c are getting on for 200 uk pounds

Sorry, i never paid attention to fact that you live outside of the US. I'll do some research and provide you with better information and post the pics I have.
