Hi,

When I back up with my double-axe trailer I need to put a "key" on the side of the coupler to disengage the brakes....I did lost it this week-end !!!! Where can I get another one ?

I have a mastercraft trailer.

Does your trailer have a hole in it that you can simply put a small bolt to stop the trailer surge? If no hole for a bolt/screw, you might still be able to improvise with something instead of getting that exact key.

A penny or washer taped in the slide works, too.

At some point you may want to add a Solenoid so you simply put vehicle in Reverse and it automatically releases the trailer brakes...

Just add a Reverse Solenoid Valve, page 14, http://www.trailersbydorsey.com/Websites/Trailersbydorsey/Images/2007%20Color%20Parts%20Catalog.pdf
