My battery is located under the seat. The problem is it holds water and has no drainage. There is a removeable plastic box that sits in an enclosed well, neither has a drain hole. I would drill a hole in both to allow the water to drain into the hull but I can't see; there is a stringer blocking the view. Any thoughts on where to drill?

Its supposed to hold water or battery acid in case of a failure!

Yup. Should have seen the mess in the batt box in my X2 when I bought it.
I've had to sop up the water out of the batt box in my Prostar a couple times, but better than leaking battery acid if something happens.

Never considered that. Thanks for the information.

I always just use paper towels and soak up the water... it works pretty well.
