I have an '04 X10 with white and gray cushions. I took them all out of the boat and am getting set to clean and protect them, but I'm not sure how. They're basically in good shape, except for some weird yellow stains on the sides of some of them where they contact another cushion.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I give mine a wipedown with mild soap and water and when everything is dry - give a good dose of 303.

G&T / Spradling recomends fantastic with a soft brush, hose it off with water dry if off and the the 303 seams to be the best protectant out there. You don't need to hit with 303 every time.
Keep it clean!

Any idea what those bright yellow stains are where the cushions touch each other?

Me personally!

I hate using chemicals on the cushions. I just use hot water and the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads.

It is likely mold from trapped moisture. The moisture is trapped where the cushions touch. The mold eventually dies but leaves a yellow to green stain depending on your location and mold type. Tough stain to remove.

Many folks move the cushions when the boat is in use to avoid trapped moisture.

Try leaving the cushion in direct sun.

I use ''Carbrite Xtra Duty'' spay no. E006. I use a soft brush (in a circular manner) and let it set for 2 or 3 minutes then I wipe it clean with humid towel.

Then I apply ''Otoprotec vinyl and leather treatment'' with a small sponge. It protects the fabric from the sun and prevent mildew to stick making it easy to clean at the end of the season.

(I just realised it's a Canadian company..)

I bought my 1992 Prostar 190 3 years ago from a friend and that's the treatment he recommended.

The cushions look just as new.

If you've read this recently, I have no reason to question it. But they changed the formulation of Fantastic a couple of years back. As a result, MC and other manufacturers no longer recommend it. Again, if G&T is saying something different, so be it. I searched for them, but couldn't find anything.
