Bought new sliders, and well, I forgot how it all goes back together!
There are 6 cone washers. I believe that 2 cone washers go on the front mounts, 1 on each slider. Then on the rear mounts, 2 cone washers on each slider, stacked. Does this sound correct?
I'm attaching photos along with a quick MSpaint listing out the parts, and how I have them orientated.

I've got the same sliders as you, but my original set up only had four cone washers, one on each bolt. They were oriented concave side up. They were there as a spacer so that the handle on the left slider wouldn't rub against the seat bottom.
I don't believe the way you have the washers set up is correct. Having the two "pointy" ends touching wouldn't be very strong, and they might collapse.
I ended up installing a large sheet of polyethylene as a spacer/reinforcer on the bottom of the seat, so my cone washers are now in the toolbox.
My '89 had threaded inserts in the seat, so the sliders had to be installed to the seat first, then attached to the fiberglass base.
Hope this helps!
