I am curious, Have you guy's ever seen a molded ski case. I work at a small plastics co. and I am thinking about building tooling to mold ski cases. Do any of you think there is a market for them? How much would they be worth? What features would be important?

I have not seen a molded case before, not sure if it would be in demand or not.I like the soft case because it's easy on the boat interior and gel coat. But what do I know? Also if you want to make a few bucks lots of guy's are looking for the bow and stern plastic vents on the stars and stripes boats. These parts are impossible to find.Someone needs to start making some, and I think everyne who has an S&S would buy an extra set to have around just in case.

Thanks for the link, that is close to what I was thinking. I wonder how many they sell? Tooling cost would be too high on the vents. Unless I can sell them for $100.00 a set.

I have never used a ski case. I like my ski to look a bit rough. :D
