I am buying a 2005 X2 in Orlando and need to get it back to Memphis, TN. The boat does not come with a trailer and I really do not want to buy one (unless someone has one really cheap) as the boat will sit on a lift year around.
I am willing to rent and insure the proper trailer if anyone has one or knows of one. I will only need the trailer for 4-7 days.
Thanks for your help
Keith

Did you get a really good deal on it? I'm less than 2 hours away from you.

Hard to define a good deal. I think its a good price.
Its a 2005 X2 with the MCX engine, Perfect Pass, Ballasts system etc. All original, 63 hours, no flaws, metal flake paint. No tower speakers. No Trailer. $29000.
Do you have a trailer for rent?

Seems like a pretty solid deal. If it came with a trailer at that price I would say it was an outstanding deal. I have a tandem axle trailer, but my boat is sitting on it. I really have no way to loan it out to you, or I would try to help you out. I sent you a PM last week about my boat, so I was just curious what you had came up with.

Jim@BAWS should be all over this. He's always selling trailers.
Talk to him. He's a MC dealer in FL, what's Orlando, hr or 2 from Land o Lakes?
Try to find out what other hulls would be the same for trailer fitment.
05X2 = X1 = 205V = orig Xstar =??
Are the bottom profiles close enough to a PS 205 or PS 190 to work?

It is my understanding that the following are indeed the same hull:
01-02 X-Star
03-07 X2
08-current X1
I have a friend with a 2001 PS209, but not sure it would sit correct.
I will check with Jim, thanks for the lead.
xstarplease, I just saw your PM. I am new to the board and I have not thought to look at my inbox. I think a got a pretty good deal, however i would have liked to have seen yours. sounds like a great boat. Could you tell me about the underwater lights? Never seen that.
thanks all

The underwater lights mount on the transom. They light up the water around the back of the boat at night. You can do a search on here and see some examples. I think it's a really cool feature.
