Anyone know where (if possible) you can get the speedo pickups that go under the swim platform for '77-'83 models? I have heard that they don't exist anymore. Or is it better to just get the replacements from West Marine?

Yup, and they are the upgraded type that flow through so they less prone to clogging.

This is the one I put on my 94. It works great and it actually folds down to get you more clearance behind the boat if you have it in the garage.

My old one snapped off in the cold when I was walking around the back end of the boat.:o

As everyone else stated, they are less likely to clog. I replaced both of mine last summer. If I recall, the holes didn't exactly line up.:(

new to TT, but not to M/C. Own a '94 PS 205. Just got two new pickups from SKIDIM yesterday. I am going to need to drill new holes to fit?

If you want to but I was able to mount the new pickup using the existing two holes and left the third one open. Has worked for a year now without any problems.

94' 205......same as yours.

I replaced mine with the ones from skidim also, (when I had '93 PS205). did not drill new holes in boat, also left the third one open, no problems.

As has been said, don't drill new holes in the boat. Use your old pickup as a template and drill holes on either side of the new pickup. Skip the top hole; you don't need it. 3M 5200 in the holes and screw threads and reattach.
