Ballast pump works periodically

Hi all, just had a question as to why my ballast pump for my center bag works sometimes and other times I hit the switch, the switch lights but the pump does nothing. Why would it work sometimes and other times I get nothing???? Very frustrating to say the least......

Ryan,
I think that you may have a recalled pump issue with your boat. Some pump impellers on that year boats were too big. Check on the recall section of the MYMC website.

I would say an electrical short, your wire may be grounding out somewhere.
