Motor just quit

I took my 93 mastercraft for a cruise saturday it is a 93 190. I was reversing and shifting back into neutral and the motor just stalled. I never fired again after that and it still won't. It ran fine that day for about 30 minutes.Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?It did not overheat or lockup or anything like that. I was reversing into a current, I don't know if water could have been pushed back through the exaust system. Any help on this would be greatly appreaciated.

-Check to see if any plug will ark.

This is a 351 Cleveland right? check the Holly carb. to make sure fuel is coming from the primer pump, or fuel is in the reservoir (better check fuel filter), But easy to check if you remove fire arrestor, and while looking down the carp, have another person extend the fuel throttle to see if the primer will inject a large amount of fuel. if 0 fuel, then thats your primary suspect. (of course, do not check ark, while flame arrestor is off in a closed area...)
