I have two 3-blade props, but damaged one pretty badly. I was wondering if anyone has had luck with 4-blades on this boat.

I have an 81 Powerslot and went with the NEW ACME 3 blade (13 1/2 X 17 1/2). It performs great. Better out of the hole than my old 3 blade and I kept the top end. If you go with a 4 blade you are likely to loose top end.
3 blade CNC is the best way to go IMO.

I switched my 83 to a 4 blade. My 77 had a 4 blade on it too. The reason I switched was mainly for smoothness (of which the CNC's can provide) but the other reason is speed stability while skiing. My driver prefers the 4 blade because there is less fluctuation in speed, even when pulling hard slalom (or at least I like to THINK I'm pulling hard!).
If you are concerned about loosing top end, then the 3 blade CNC is best. If not, consider a 4 blade.

I should add that my 83 is a PowerSlot. The 777 obviously was not.
