Left side speedo stopped working?

I've got a 2005 PS197 and the left side speedo stopped working, any ideas? All of the other gauges and functions work and best I can tell, everything is plugged in properly.

Perhaps something is crimping the tube somewhere or the tube is blocked.
A couple of weeks ago my left speedo went out and I found out that my battery shifted and the tube was being pinched by the battery.

With the paddle wheel design they use on these, do they still utilize a pick-up tube, or is it all done electronically? One paddle wheel drives both speedo's, so I am baffled as to why one would work and the other wouldn't?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the new design and by no means very mechanically inclined!

I'll take any advice I can get. Sometimes technology isn't so great!
