I'm trying to replace my swim platform brackets on our '06 X2. I've taken the 5 screws out of the piece that attaches to the transom, however it's still firmly attached to the hull. Tried prying it using a piece of wood to protect the gel but it didn't seem to want budge. Is there anything else I should be doing to get this separated from the transom?
Thanks!

I had a nuts and bolts on my bracket when I replaced it on my 06 X-45. I think it had some kind of silicone or epoxy on it also.

It has an adhesive between the bracket and transom, gonna have to use some heat, to loosen the adhesive-a torch works the best. I replaced mine over the winter and thats what I had to do-it worked for me

Thanks, guys. I'll put some heat to it.
