There are two write ups on Mastercraft Team Talk right now for adding a wake plate to a X-10 (VRS210) boat.

Which one do you think is the best way to go????

Lenco - electric, single actuactor
Pro - fewer holes in transom
Con - more expensive to replace actuator when it fails, more expensive overall

Bennett - hydraulic, twin actuator
Pro - actuator fix is usually a o-ring (seal), cheaper cost
Con - more holes in transom

thanks

Rob

I had Lencos on a center console and they lasted a few seasons with the boat staying in the salt bath 100% of the time before they failed.

I would personally go with the Lencos, as those are easier to install and take up less room than the Bennetts. Bennett now offers a retro kit, if you later decide to convert to the hydraulic system, FYI.

Thanks, I'm leaning towards the Lenco brand.
