Hi,
I'd like to run my boat on the trailer so I can warm up the motor to change my oil. On my old ProStar, I could put one of my intake hoses in a 5 gallon bucket of water with a hose in it and that would keep up with the water intake. Has anyone done that with a V-Drive? I now have a 2006 X2 with the MCX. What's the best way for me to keep the motor cool in my driveway?
Thanks,
Brandon

You can do the same thing with the X-2, or pull the intake line off bottom of the boat and hook a hose too it.

This is what we do, just takes a quick trip to the hardware store, 5 gallons of water will run out pretty quick.
