What happened to the "ebay, craigslist...finds..." thread? Searched and it's not here.

He's got the boat for sale locally too. Called him b/c it seemed too good to be true. At least the guy's honest. Water damage (didn't know if it went under or just got reeeal wet), stolen, stripped (partially). Said he's got over $12k into the boat getting it back to where it is now. Engine rebuilt, etc, etc. Wants $35k locally for it.
Ballast system fried, no stereo, racks, bimini, etc. Hard to believe the rest isn't an elect nightmare still.
Might be a good buy at $25k.
If he hasn't found a sucker...I mean buyer soon, I may see if he wants to horse trade some hardware like spkr lights, brand new skins for my 4-5 year old skins, etc...you know just to help him out and recoup some of his $$ into the boat.

It's in the Watersports/Other catagory now.

I remember seeing that boat back when it was up for auction about a year ago or so.

Wonder what he gave for it?
Ebay add doesn't say anything about the rebuilt engine, but he told me he dropped $5k at S&W in Denver on a rebuild.
After getting to know my boat quite well, I wouldn't touch one like this that may have been sunk with the drive by wire, PP module, etc, etc unless it was cheap enough to replace everything and then some.
He gave me the ole "These boats sell for over $50k...so $35k is a steal!" routine.
That was before I knew about all the parts/accessories missing.
