Does anyone know if the drivers side panel where the throttle is attached is the same for 2003 boats to 2006 boats? Or more specifically the TT boats to the regular 197's.
Thanks,

Have you cracked your panel, or has it just broken at the top screws?

It has pulled through at the top screws or bolts, I have found a guy that has one from a 2005 Prostar 197 but I'm not sure if it is the same shape and color and my boat is in storage so I can't really go look to compare. Any ideas?
Thanks

I am pretty certain that they were all black and identical in shape. As far as mounting, all of them mount with 3 screws at the top of the panel and 1 screw at the bottom center of the panel.

same here, my buddy has an '02 X7 and it looks identical to my '07 197 TT. His had the same problem with the screws cracking the panel around the inside of the hole. I'd say you could epoxy some large fender washers on the inside so it will tighten up.

My Boat did the same thing. I took off the panel, epoxy glued some stainless "t" nuts to the fibreglass, bought some rubber stoppers/feet for furniture that are the correct size and reinstalled panel.56298

The only thing to make sure is if a stereo remote was installed on the new arm rest. In 2003 they had a small remote with a fake wood mounting plate. The newer remotes might not have the same cutouts.
