Hey guys, just wondering why there are no prices on 'build a boat'. The automanufactors have the price increase as options are added, why can't Mastercraft do the same thing. It would be nice to see what my dream boat would be without having to talk to the dealer personally.

It's all in the negotiations after the build cost and profit to MC is paid by the dealer. Only boats I know that have what you are looking for are the ones at Bass Pro - Nitro and Tahoe have set stickers based on models - everybody else pretty much has MSRP - and you have to take it from there....

MSRP would flat out scare you, anyways. Back in 2007, the MSRP on my boat was $76,000. That number is basically to leave room for financing. The Design a Boat feature is there to get you excited and contact the dealer when you are ready. I am pretty sure at the end of the design process, there is a link that says "request a quote from your local dealer". At that time, your design is sent to them and they are able to price it accordingly and hopefully a tad bit more realistically than the MSRP.

That's what I did... there was a quick repsonse from the dealer as well.

LOL. Freaking high. :confused:It is a MC.:D I thought there was no way no how I would pay that much for a boat, but after driving them and doing the factory tour I realized iwould be nuts to by anything but the MC.
I had been looking at Centurions and Tige, obviously the MC is a step up from those, so the comparison wasn't fair until we tested the CC. Didn't test a BU, simply because I hate the looks fo them.

I agree totally! MasterCrafts and Correct Crafts -- are in my opinion the upper tier in ski/wake boats.... I actually purchased a brand new Correct Craft in 1994 and totally loved that boat and I never had any problems..... I currently own a MasterCraft and I am on the brink of purchasing a second one.... So, at the end of the day I will own 2 MasterCrafts..... That should illustrate to you how I feel about MasterCrafts......
