ATTENTION EVERYONE-WE NEED TO CHANGE THE DATE!
Due to a conflicting schedule,

The JUNE JERSEY JAM IS NOW JUNE 26-27!

Meet @ Curtin's Marina in Burlington NJ on saturday June 26th at 9am.

http://www.curtinsmarina.net/

Ok chime in if you're in these areas. Maybe some of us could get together for a day of skiing, wakeboarding, foiling, etc this coming June prior to the northeast reunion.
There is a great spot in Jersey where we go that has a waterfront dock-bar with good food that makes you feel like you're docking for lunch in florida!

Anyone interested?

-Dave

What, the MA guys aren't invited??????

C'mon John, no haters here! :D I just mentioned those states because they are the closest to me here in NJ. Of course anyone willing to make the tow is invited.

Any weekend/saturday in June would work for me, I'm always at the river on saturdays.
So at this point I'll say the date is to be announced. Anyone have dates to avoid?

The restaurant and ramp are both located in the same spot which is:
Curtin's Wharf and marina
501 E. Pearl St.
Burlington, NJ 08016

My usual launch location is 3 miles up river at:

1 W. Front St.
Florence, NJ 08518

Ok, who's in?

Nice place. My sister lives about 15 miles from there in Haddonfield.

I can't promise glass, but 90% of the time the morning glass looks like this until 10-11am.

For anyone who wants to stay overnight, there are many hotels/motels but this one is the cleanest for sure (and it has a pool) It's 10 mins from the ramp, which I believe is $10-$15 to launch and I will check on that for you out-of-staters. The ramp I usually use cost $50 for out-of-state boaters.

NEW DATE of the June Jersey Jam is now June 26-27th.

I don't have any ideas for activities yet other than using our boats and grabbing some lunch at Curtins (which is a great dinner spot too with live music).
Suggestions?

Just joking Dave. 5 hours is a bit much for me for this trip. But someday I'd like to get down there.

I knew you were just joking, no worries!
You should try to get to the northeast reunion in Lake George at least then, it would be closer for you right?

Sweet. 2.5 hours from severn means only 3.0 hrs for me. Think I picked the wrong year to not tag the trailer.

I always have extra room on the X-star. Leave your boat home and come on up! :D

Yes, it is closer. The problem with the NE reunion is that it is on the weekend after July 4....So I've been going to the lake in NH for the July 4 week for a few years now. Which means I check out of the rental house on Saturday the 10th which is the date of the reunion. I don't want to cut the vaca short to leave for the reunion on Friday morning or Thursday night.....:(

I can't blame you for not wanting to cut your vaca short. You'll just have to make the trek down here to Jersey then! (make a weekend out of it) You could even hit Six Flags or the Jersey beaches on the way home!

Ok what are we thinking about a date? The place looks good for me. Fathers day would be nice but I'm not going to be able to pull dad away from the rest of the fam that weekend. Just speaking for my self though.

Looks like I better stay away from father's day weekend.
Sounds like June 12-13 might work for most of you guys. Everyone okay with that date?

I'd agree - stay away from Father's Day. The first CSM was on Mother's Day and definitely kept some from attending.

NJskier. What's the final word? Do I need to start looking for a campground and booking a reservation for June 12-13? The snows gone, so now I have to start looking to the water to skip across.

Who else is in?

JUNE JERSEY JAM 2010!

***Note*** The weekend of June 26-27 will be the date! Make your hotel reservations now!
ccowell, I'll check the local campgrounds for you but I know the closest one is in Jackson NJ near Six Flags which is about 45 mins away from the ramp. More info to come.

Hi! NJSkier. I live in the phila burbs. Where is the boat ramp for launching into the Delaware? Exactly what part of the river do you use? I heard some parts are rough. The get-together sounds great!
Thanks, Mark:)

Hi Mark and welcome! There are several ramps on both sides of the river. We use Florence NJ's ramp and have used others in the past as well. I'll PM you a list of them including some on the PA side.

Hope to see you out on the river this year, and you should come out on AUGUST 7-8 also. (We were just out 2 days ago, air was in the 70's and water temp was 59...my 3/2 fullsuit worked fine)

So guys, chime in if you're good for that June 26-27 weekend on the river. :D

***AUGUST 7-8!

Please let me know either on this thread or by PM if you plan on attending!

The end of June is a great time to hit the water! Come out and show off your ride, do some skiing/wakeboarding and share some good times with your MC brothers and sisters!

Bump to the top.
Wow, it's May already! The weather has been unusally warm lately, and the water temps are already in the 60's. Should be very comfy by the end of June.

C'mon guys (and ladies), who's in for the June Jersey Jam on the river?

Well it looks like the dates I picked are not so good......AGAIN! (sorry guys!)
I'm away the weekend of June 26-27. This summer seems to be extra busy for some reason. Let me try to nail down a date in July instead and I'll post it here.

sjskier, yes I will give you a call and hopefully you and some other MC'ers can come up with your boats and give our spot a try. BTW, where do you ski?

Jerseydave

AUGUST 7TH-8TH for the JERSEY JAM 2010?

Would this date work for most of you guys?
Trying to give enough advanced notice to everyone so you can make plans to attend.
Let me know and I'll make it happen.

Again this is a meet-and-greet just to get area MC owners together for a day of skiing, riding and lunch at Curtin's Wharf on the water. If anyone wants to try the X-star wake I'll offer up some pulls.
