Extra Parts

When I was looking in the back part of my boat, near the gas tank, I noticed two nuts in the bottom of that section. These nuts were not connected to anything...

They look to be about 3/8 or 1/2 inch nuts, and there are two of them. Does anyone has any clue of what they may have come from? Or is someone playing a nasty joke on me. They obviously belong to something, but I have no idea to what.

Are there any nuts missing from gas tank mounts or any other hardware back there?

Just a guess.

I found several in mine and one was from the alternator bracket. :( Others just appeared to be extra!

I can't really tell. There are no nuts missing from the top part of the gas tank mounts, I have not looked underneath.

I found some nuts when I first got my Maristar and after looking hight and low, it turns out they were nuts that attach bolts holding the padded side panels on near the rear seating area. They were not as big as the ones you have mentioned, may be like 1/4", but you might take a look at you panels.
